Dutch Total Soccer (DTS) is looking for people who love the sport of soccer, enjoy working with youth or children and can provide the high level of instruction and coaching in our sport that our students have come to expect from us!
We’re looking for individuals with more than just a superficial knowledge of our sport. So, if you have learned soccer as an amateur or scholastic player at a high level, you may be just the individual we are looking for.
Position title: Soccer Instructor:
To be considered for this position we have certain requirements for licensing, education and experience. The requirements are part of what has set our instructional and training programs well above the norm — and our results exceed other soccer programs that are offered in the region. Our programs are of the highest caliber, because our Soccer Instructors and Program Directors have an in-depth knowledge of the sport, as well as a deep knowledge of physical and mental development of children and youth.
Part time/Assistant Instructors:
Instructors will require a USSF “E” license or better and a minimum of a high school diploma and at least 12 months’ or more experience as a soccer coach(paid or volunteer) or assistant coach. Candidates will be assisting on in-house programs including but not limited to: soccer classes, camps, assisting in youth team training and must have the desire to work with all age groups.
(Those hired as Assistant Instructors will be part of team of instructors.)
Full Time Soccer Instructors:
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of experience coaching youth soccer (paid or unpaid), a high school diploma and have achieved a minimum of a USSF “C” license, NSCAA “intermediate” credential, or the equivalent.
The licensing requirement is a necessity due to minimums set forth by local clubs we provide training for. You will be eligible to be assigned to instruct teams that have contracted with Soccer Centers to provide their training programs during the spring and fall soccer training and playing seasons.
In addition, work will include but not limited to: Summer Camp instruction, Summer Select Team coaching, Winter class training(must be available day and or evening).
Hours: Vary with the season.
From late January through mid-June, and from early September through mid-November, a typical work schedule typically includes weekend days and evening class or team training assignments. Also you need to be available for regular staff meetings. From mid-November to mid-January we continue classes, you may be assigned to lead classes as an Instructor or part of a team of instructors, depending on our enrollment levels.
From late June to late August, camp program assignments are from 8 am to 5 pm. Some summer programs may occur in the evening, as well.
